Alumni Weekend 2015

The Office of Alumni Relations invited Polar Bears back to campus to honor the 50-year reunion of the Class of 1965 and the Golden Years alumni. The Class of 1965 celebrated with a reception, dinner and ceremony including live 1960's music followed by a special commencement in the Ballroom where graduates were awarded a medal and certificate. The event closed with the singing of the ONU Hymn and a verse of the Benediction song, traditionally sung by the University Singers.

During the weekend, alumni also enjoyed an ONU historian presentation which highlighted familiar faces and buildings on campus. Other activities included a 1965 Trivia Game, jewelry making at Polar Bear Bling, a breakfast with the Deans and college tours, and Creative-i-Tea where alumni channeled their inner artist and painted a whimsical Polar Bear.

Alumni Weekend was, as always, a wonderful occasion to reminisce, spend time with old friends and classmates, and get acquainted with fellow Polar Bears.
